Ballroom Basel Workshop

Ballroom Basel is a project aimed at introducing and building the ballroom scene in Basel, inspired by the movement created by Black and Latinx trans women in Harlem, New York. The project seeks to provide spaces for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC youth to express themselves through dance, discussions, and workshops. Beyond celebrating self-expression and culture, the initiative aims to provide a some first connection to people who have ties to organisation that give mental health support or care work. The goal is to establish a first step in the community through two days of workshops.
